Sarnia-Lambton Greens Choose Provincial Candidate!

Sarnia-Lambton Greens choose established candidate for 2018

On Friday, September 29, members of the Sarnia-Lambton Green Party chose Kevin Shaw as their candidate for the next provincial election.

Kevin teaches mathematics at Great Lakes Secondary School and operates the website business High School Sports Zone that is being used by 19 school athletic associations throughout Ontario. Kevin grew up on a farm near Brigden and now lives in Petrolia with his wife and three children. He was also the Sarnia-Lambton Greens’ provincial candidate in 2014.

“If you understand that climate change needs to be tackled and that this won’t destroy our economy, if you want one school board, and if you want lower payroll taxes for small businesses then the Green Party of Ontario is the party for you!” said Kevin to supporters at Greens Café in Sarnia.

“I can think of no better person to represent Sarnia-Lambton in Queen’s Park than Kevin Shaw.  Kevin can see, first hand, the problems with our education system, but he also sees the problems with our society, and he knows that we can do better, much better.  Kevin understands how Green Policies balance human needs, our economy and our environment” said Peter Smith, former federal Green Party candidate.

The provincial election is expected to be held in June 2018.
